How does it work?
Suppose you have a website where your users fill in certain forms and you want them to arrive in FossDoc as documents:
E-mails with files that arrive in a mailbox from outside can be converted into electronic documents with fields and started along certain template routes.
Custom reports
Do you need custom report forms? Every report can be agreed on and made on your prototype. Create a sample report filled with test data in any editor, send it to us and find out how much such development costs.
Integration of FossDoc with other software systems
The FossDoc system (and solutions on the FossLook platform) can integrate different systems with one another. For example, you may have another system that keeps account of goods, a CRM system or bookkeeping programs. If there is an API or direct access to the database, FossDoc can interact with another software system. A document created in one system can pass along a route in FossDoc and return a result or a set of data.
How much does it cost?
Before any software change is estimated, a technical specification has to be written. While the technical aspects are agreed and discussed, all the details come out and the processing becomes clearer both to the customer and to our programmers.
Please note: A careless statement of the tasks makes the development more expensive.
If the specification is written in a rather "compressed" form, is not detailed and contains only the general concept, the programmers include all possible risks and wishes in the initial price. Conversely, questions and algorithms that are worked out competently and in detail lead to a better founded price for our services.
How the price is estimated
For custom development we involve our own programmers, so the price of such work depends directly on the cost of their work. The price of development is agreed individually and invoiced in hryvnia (UAH), VAT excluded.
Where to start with the technical specification?
Before you start writing the specification, learn about the existing features of FossDoc. Without this it is hard to imagine and explain the goal and the result competently.
- think about the type of document you will work with
- if there is no standard document type or its features (fields) are not enough, you can create a new document library and your own document type in it
- think over and create template routes for processing
- match the fields from external sources (e-mail, a form on a website, another software system) with the fields of your document in FossDoc
- the participants of the process and their actions on documents at different stages must be described clearly and be understandable
